** crap box ** the electronic knights pack series issue 12 * compiled and code by bifat * music soda7 * gfx nero this has been a slow season for amiga packdisk connoisseurs so far. and the disk still isn't full - scandal !!! but we simply had to get his out now - since there's an invitation on this disk, we cannot wait until the date has passed! so check out boozedrome V and lubricate your tracker! and release more often you lazies, so that others who are not as lazy as you receive quicker distribution! finally, here's the long-standing admission of "cheesy listening" which was postponed from the previous issue... sorry for that folks! highlight of this pack must be the utterly amazing work by koney, which impressed the hell out of me... some of the best material i've seen in a while. But there's more, noteworthy are for example some fine 4k intros by fnuque, five finger punch, and nah-kolor. to my deepest regret, we once again had to filter out some productions because they were not really OCS, but some mish-mash of works-on-68000-but-requires-kick-2.0, would-be-OCS-but-needs-800k-chipmem, and so on ... frankly this affects mainly AMOS productions. so if you think that "AMOS is forever", then find ways to make your fine art and work eternal - by sticking to the OCS format I'd suggest... and having them sent around the world on a packdisk. just my two cents! rest assured, crapbox remains pure and dry to the bone: stuff has to work on my rev.5 Amiga 500, Kick 1.2, 512k + 512k for admission. the point is, if you undergo all the hassle of putting stuff on a physical disk, you want to make damned sure that it's worth the effort and entertains, not frustrates. so you can hook your amiga to the big stereo, a 1084 or projector, grab a beer, lean back and enjoy it! it would be besides the point otherwise. stuff optimized for prerecorded revision streams in 16:9... so-called OCS productions that only exist in parallel universes like a video recording at evoke... waiting two minutes for depacking a 500k executable with shrinkler... we gladly reserve this kind of entertainment to youtube troglodytes. enjoy the tune by guest musician soda7 on this issue, and greetings to all! signing off...
